What We Offer

Coffee Growing, Processing & Exporting

Banyankole Coffee Services Cooperative Society Ltd members are smallholder farmers growing coffee on small plots of land. The red cherries are picked twice in the year with the main season running from May to August or early September and fly crop is December to January each year. Once the red cherries are harvested, they are immediately sundried naturally on canvas in the farmers’ home. Farmers ensure that coffee is stored in cool and dry places.

Farmers then transport and deliver the coffee to collection centres. The Association collects the coffee from the collection centres, delivers to the processing factory. After the processing or hulling, coffee is delivered to Kampala for further processing and grading and then sold off as Green coffee to Fairtrade and non-Fairtrade markets.
