All small farmers are fairtrade – certified in this organisation as their umbrella, services provider and marketing organisation. Farmers organised themselves and registered BCS in order to have a big bargaining voice in the world market with Robusta coffee and to have the capacity to export Uganda natural coffees to increase their household incomes and to strengthen the business relationship between the farmer producers and buyers socially, economically and preservation of natural environment.

e bulk good quality coffee from small Farmer Associations/groups and add value to their produce ready for grading into exportable grades to meet international coffee standards. We provide linkage services and bargaining powers between farmers and buyers and most importantly, the farmer benefits from world market prices and is encouraged to take exceptional care to produce good quality coffee.

To improve coffee productivity, livelihoods of farmers and increased farmer household incomes through supply of improved coffee seedlings that leads to increased production, value addition and linking farmers to international markets like fair trade for attractive prices.
To work with Farmers Associations and groups to improve the quality of coffee up to the export level by training farmers in improved extention services, providing equipment for drying, testing and grading coffee to meet internationally accepted standards.
To increase the income of the majority of coffee peasant – farmers through increased efficiency in production and improvement of natural environment and export marketing
To promote and strengthen the capacity of women, youth and people with disabilities participation in coffee production and other economic developments.
To fight HIV/ AIDS through sensitisation campaigns.
- BCS producer organisation is owned by farmers who are organised in associations/ groups. Each group keeps a register of its members who elect committees which manages the associations businesses
- Each association is represented by two delegates at the annual general meeting (AGM).
